Discover the stories connecting Britain and America, explore postgraduate opportunities with around 20 UK universities, and meet fellow Americans making their own lives here. With keynote speakers, complimentary daytime refreshments and lunch, and an evening celebration, there’s plenty of time to learn something new and get to know each other.
We’ll also launch our TikTok competition, with a trip to Europe as the first prize. And for anyone keeping the celebrations going, there’s an optional late-night Super Bowl watch party at Belushi’s London Bridge.
Attendance is free for ASAN-UK members, with limited places allocated through a ballot. Applications close on 6 February 2026.

Yes. Admission to the main conference is free, including the keynote talks, postgraduate fair and networking programme. Places are limited and allocated through a ballot. Optional late-night activities and additional food or drinks may involve a charge.
Yes. Membership is free, and you must be a member to apply for a conference place.
Yes. American students studying in the UK on full-time courses, semester exchanges or year-abroad programmes are eligible.
Yes. American alumni of UK institutions are welcome to apply and connect with current students.
Applications do not guarantee admission. Places are released in waves, considering registration order, regional coverage, university representation and involvement with ASAN-UK. The ballot closes on 6 February 2026.
Morning refreshments and lunch are included. Evening drinks are subject to the available drinks budget, so don’t assume an unlimited free bar. Confirmed attendees will be asked about dietary requirements before the event.

Conference eligibility is limited to American students and alumni. Friends who meet the criteria can join ASAN-UK and apply separately.
Smart casual is ideal for the daytime programme, with comfortable clothing for the evening. Bring photo ID for check-in and any questions you’d like to ask the speakers or university representatives.
Yes. Photography and filming are planned during the event. Please speak to the registration team on arrival if you do not wish to be photographed.
